T-cell surface glycoprotein CD1b is a surface protein .

properties

It is produced in cortical thymocytes and in some T-cell leukemias , among other things . CD1B is in the course of the adaptive immune response involved in the antigen presentation of lipid - and lipopeptide - antigens compared to the T-cell receptors . In addition to lipids, it also binds to beta-2 microglobulin . CD1a is glycosylated and has disulfide bridges .
