T-cell surface glycoprotein CD1c is a surface protein .

properties

It is produced in cortical thymocytes and in some T-cell leukemias , among other things . CD1c is in the course of the adaptive immune response involved in the antigen presentation of lipid -, lipopeptide - and glycolipid - antigens compared to the T cell receptors of T-cells . In addition to lipids, it also binds to beta-2 microglobulin . CD1c is glycosylated and has disulfide bridges .
