CD27 antigen is a surface protein from the group of TNF receptors .
properties
CD27 is the receptor for CD70 (synonymous CD27L ). It is produced by T cells and inhibits SIVA1 -dependent apoptosis . CD27 is a cysteine protease and an immune checkpoint . It is glycosylated and phosphorylated .
CD27 binds to SIVA1, TRAF2 and TRAF3 .
The anti-CD27 antibody varlilumab binds to CD27 and is used for cancer immunotherapy .
