history

The club was founded on October 31, 1956 and played in the regional leagues of Andalusia for the first few years. In the 1966/67 season you could play in the third division for a year . It was not until the 1986/87 season that you could move up to the Tercera División, which had now become the fourth division. From 1992 San Roque played for three years in the Segunda División B , before relegation took place again and the club also spent a few years in the regional leagues. In the 2008/09 season, the club was group winner in Group 10 of the Tercera Division and was able to prevail in the final of the play-offs against CD Binissalem and so after 14 years to rise again to the third division. You could also qualify for the Copa del Rey 2009/10 . The club then stayed in the Segunda División B until 2016, with an interruption in the 2013/14 season. Since then, San Roque de Lepe has played in the Tercera División.
