CFNY-FM (102.1 The Edge) is a privately owned radio broadcaster based in Toronto , Ontario , Canada . The alternative rock station is operated by Corus Entertainment . The transmitter transmits with a power of 35.4 kW from the CN Tower and supplies the Greater Toronto Area . In addition, the program is also fed into the Internet and the digital cable network of several cable network operators. The broadcast studios are located in downtown Toronto on Corus Quay .
