The abbreviation CNC stands for China Xinhua News Network Corporation . The station started broadcasting in 2010. In addition to a program in Chinese, there is also a program in English that broadcasts 24 hours a day. The English-language program is also distributed via the SES Astra satellite system and can be received in Europe primarily in Great Britain, Ireland, the Benelux countries and neighboring parts of Germany.
