Suspension bridge

The 229 m high pylons of the bridge consist of two concrete pillars , which are connected at the top with a steel girder . The deck girder is 38.2 m wide. It consists of a 3.5 m high hollow box girder made of steel , which has been aerodynamically optimized in order to keep the load from cross winds low. It has three lanes and a hard shoulder in each direction of traffic. Outside the suspension cable and the hanger there is a 2.1 m wide maintenance walkway. The bridge is supported by prefabricated parallel wire ropes with 127 wires.
