CRM WebClient UI
CRM WebClient UI is one of the SAP AG developed online - user interface for the product Customer Relationship Management . The Web client - UI provides a role-based user interface with a customizable navigation .

The Framework - architecture based on different layers . The different layers are completely separated from each other. This separation enables any business application to be connected to the Presentation Layer via the Business Object Layer (BOL) and the Generic Interaction Layer (GENIL).
Presentation layer
The presentation layer of the CRM WebClient UI is based on the framework of the CRM user interface (CRM UIF), which forms the basis for the HTML pages executed in the web browser.
Business layer
The Business Object Layer (BOL) and the Generic Interaction Layer (GenIL) are important components of the Business Layer.
Business Object Layer (BOL) In the Business Object Layer, the data of the business objects as well as attributes and relationships are saved during the runtime of a CRM WebClient UI session. This layer ensures the separation of the CRM WebClient UI and the underlying application logic.
Generic Interaction Layer (GENIL) The generic Interaction Layer handles the data transfer from the Business Object Layer to the Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) of the underlying business engine. It represents the connection between the business object layer and the underlying business engine.
Business application
The business application contains the application logic and the database tables.
User roles
A role for end users in the system. By using different user roles, different business content can be displayed from different applications, e.g. B. Sales, service or marketing.
Personalize the interface
The CRM WebClient can be individually adapted to the wishes of the end user through a number of options. The central entry to the personalization page is located in the header area of the CRM WebClient. Here the date and time format, organizational information of the end user, various motifs, personal keyboard commands or the text size on the user interface can be adjusted. In addition, the information output in tables (showing and hiding columns, column width, order of the columns), the order of assignment blocks, the display of favorites, application links, web links and widgets on the start page can be individually personalized.
