CY-BEAST lvl1 is a collaboration album by the rapper Taddl and the music producer Marius Ley, which they released as the duo TJ_beastboy & Mary Man. It was released on September 29, 2017 under their label HYDRA MUSIC.
background
In 2014 Taddl and Ley released the EP Motus together, which was able to place in the German charts. In the same year they founded the hip-hop / cloud rap formation Dat Adam together with Ardy , with whom they successfully released music. During the two Space Camp tours through Germany, Taddl wrote most of the lyrics for this album apart from Dat Adam. Ardy is musically involved in this project only as a guest musician "gibbon don".

Before the album was released, the tracks Good Morning and Modus were released on Youtube along with a music video . Music videos that they produced themselves were later released for the two titles 9Leben and Insomnia .

review
The album was perceived as positive on the website phantomsip.wordpress.com. Especially the flow and singing of Taddl have developed further. The song 9Leben was chosen as the “highlight” of the album , which is a catchy tune for the listener.

CY-BEAST lvl1 entered the German album charts at number 26 and dropped to number 72 in the second week. After that, it got off the charts. For both of them this (with Dat Adam) is already the fifth chart success in the German album charts. In Austria and Switzerland the album did not make it into the charts. No song from the album made it to the single charts of Germany, Austria or Switzerland. The album was also able to place itself in the German hip-hop charts.
