The Café Savoy (formerly Café Vienna line ) is since 1896 existing cafe and a gay bar on the left Wienzeile in Vienna .

The building was designed by the architect Franz von Neumann on behalf of the textile industrialist Julius Léon von Wernburg , who acquired the property in 1889 , and built in 1896 and 1897. The café moved into much of the ground floor. It was initially called Café Wienzeile and was founded by the Kuszak family, who also ran coffee houses in Prague and Budapest . The architecture is magnificent, including two large mirrors, which are said to be the largest one-piece mirrors in Europe after those in the Palace of Versailles , and a chandelier by Theophil von Hansen .

In 1983 the coffee house was renamed Café Savoy. It was renovated in 2008 and 2009.
