A Caffè mocha (also: Café Mocha , Caffè mocca , Mochaccino , Mocaccino ) is a coffee variation that is prepared from espresso , hot milk , chocolate syrup or liquid chocolate . The drink usually has a milk froth or cream top.

Due to the chocolate it contains and the high milk content, the Caffè mocha tastes very mild and sweet.

The term mocha is derived from the word mocha , a type of coffee whose taste is reminiscent of chocolate. In the USA it is often marketed under the name Mochaccino.

The preparation

The Caffè Mocha is usually prepared in a large cup. In the first step, an espresso is brewed. This is given into the cup. In the second step, some cocoa is added. In the third and last step, the whole thing is then infused with hot milk. The drink can be refined with cream, but it can also be served without cream.
