Cait London

Cait London , sometimes Cait Logan , (* April 11 in Washington as Lois Kleinsasser ) is an American novelist.

Life

Cait London is of German-Russian origin and grew up in Washington State. However, she is the only member of her family who is not bilingual . She later moved to Missouri , where she now lives with her three daughters. With around 45 romance and family novels , she is one of the most successful American authors in this genre, according to USA Today . In the German-speaking area, only four of her novels have been published exclusively by Weltbild Verlag and so far have not achieved the same success as in the United States.

The self-taught writer began writing in the mid-1980s, initially writing historical romance novels that took place in the so-called Wild West . For this she traveled the old routes of the settlers, such as B. the Oregon Trail . This research flowed particularly into the Tallchiefs series, which was originally conceived only in five volumes . The ideas for her books literally came to her on her long car journeys during these trips. She got her pseudonym at the express request of her publisher.
