The Caleta Colón ( Spanish ) is a bay on the south coast of Ardley Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands .

The bay was the location of the Argentine Ballvé station, built in 1953 and used until 1997 . Argentine scientists named the bay after Pedro Colón, who was part of the crew of the corvette Uruguay from 1904 to 1905 .
