Camera Thrills is a compilation film and displays (historic) recordings spectacular events from the 1920s and 1930s, including the major fire of the Union Stock Yards in Chicago in 1910 and the assassination of King Alexander of Yugoslavia in 1934. The recordings are from Graham McNamee as narrator accompanied.

Awards

The film was nominated for an Oscar in the category "Best Short Film - Novelty" in 1936 together with Wings Over Everest by Gaumont British and Audioscopiks by Pete Smith . The prize ultimately went to Wings Over Everest .
