Cameron Hughes (born July 22, 1972 ) is a retired Australian cyclist .
Cameron Hughes first drove with a UCI license in 2002 for the Giant Asia Racing Team . A year later he drove for Schroeder Iron . At the Tour of South China Sea he was fifth and the following year eighth overall. In 2004 he switched to Subway-Express . In his second year there, he was able to win the El Salvador tour . In 2006 Hughes finished third in the second stage of the Canadian GP Cycliste de Beauce .
After retiring from active cycling in 2009, Hughes worked as a cycling coach in Brisbane .
