Camo & Krooked
Camo & Krooked are two electronic music producers living in Austria with drum and bass as their musical roots. The real names of the two musicians are Reinhard Rietsch (born April 23, 1983 in Salzburg , Camo) and Markus Wagner (born July 31, 1989 in Lilienfeld , Krooked).
Career
In 2002 Camo and Krooked, then still solo, began producing their first songs, which they sent to various labels to get a professional assessment. Through further experience in producing and assessing the tunes, they were able to keep improving until some labels, such as Renegade Hardware , decided to release the music under their own label .
In 2007 the two formed the duo Camo & Krooked to produce together. Due to her fondness to mix the different genres of electronic music , such as electro , house , funk , dubstep and drum and bass , her pieces of music achieved a style of their own, which made them known in the drum and bass scene.
In February 2010 the two released their first album called Above & Beyond on the Mainframe Recordings label.
With the Chrome project , the two DJs tried to mix the genres a little more and also include newer types of music, for example minimal , techno , progressive house and downbeat . However, this project was temporarily terminated due to a lack of time.
On October 3, 2011, their second studio album, Cross the Line, was released under Hospital Records . On March 19, 2012, the successor Between the Lines was released , on which three new tracks and the original songs can be found as remixes.
On September 30, 2013, their fourth studio album Zeitgeist was released again on Hospital Records .
The track The Lesson is used as background music in the game Fifa Street (2012), the track Climax in Gran Turismo 5, the track Aurora (together with Metrik) in Gran Turismo 6.
Camo & Krooked founded their own label Mosaik Musik in mid-2016 together with RAM Records and BMG .
Her fifth studio album, Mosaik , was released on June 23, 2017 on the label that was founded the previous year.
