The Campbell Peak is a 2,515 m high mountain on the island Heard that the Australian external territory of Heard Island and McDonald heard. It rises 1.9 km northeast of Mawson Peak .
A group of the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions carried out a survey in 1948. She named the summit after Stuart Alexander Caird Campbell (1903-1988) of the Royal Australian Air Force , who was on the island of Heard in 1929 with the British Australian and New Zealand Antarctic Research Expedition (1929-1931) led by the Australian polar explorer Douglas Mawson landed and repeated this in December 1947 as part of the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions to establish a research station.
