Canadian National Collection
The Canadian National Collection ( CNC ) is a scientific collection of insects , arachnids and nematodes that is considered to be one of the most important collections of its kind in the world.
The collection includes around 16 million species that are systematically stored in around 1,400 cabinets. The majority of the species comes from Canada and North America ; However, it is not a purely American collection, as important compilations from other biogeographical regions are also kept.
