Canberra Museum and Gallery (CMAG) is a museum in the Australian capital of Canberra . It is located on the London Circuit in the city center and opened on February 13, 1998 .

The museum deals with the art and history of Canberra and the surrounding area. In addition to the permanent exhibition Reflecting Canberra, there are regular temporary exhibitions. The exhibits include those related to the devastating bushfires of January 2003 . The two-story building also houses numerous art galleries, with various exhibitions of paintings, photographs, and other works of art. There is also a media library .
