Cancor

Cancor , also Kankor, Chancor, Chancoro, Chanchuro († 771 / after 782), was Count in Alemannia and then from 758 until his death in the Upper Rhinegau . He came from the Robertin family , his father was Count or Duke Rupert / Robert I. vom Haspengau , his mother Williswint (h) / Williswinda. In 763/764 he and his mother founded the Lorsch Monastery as an own monastery . He was married to an Angilo. His two daughters Rachilt and Eufemia entered the Lorsch monastery, his son Heimrich (Heimo) († 795) was his successor.
