The Canyon Lake (also known as Railroad Canyon Reservoir is) a dam in the town named after him Canyon Lake in Riverside County in the US state of California . It belongs to the Elsinore Valley Municipal Water District.
The backwater supplies 10% of the residents in the area around Lake Elsinore and Canyon Lake with drinking water via the Canyon Lake Water Treatment Plant .

history
The reservoir was built in 1928. It started with the dam in the Railroad Canyon . In 1929 the entire facility was completed.
