Caolu

The large community Caolu ( Chinese 曹路镇 , Pinyin Cáolù Zhèn ) is located in the "New District" Pudong (浦东新区) of the government- direct city of Shanghai , about 20 km north of Shanghai Airport . The large community has an area of 45.58 km² and approx. 186,012 inhabitants (2004).

Caolu was formed in 2000 through the merger of the former large municipalities Gulu (顾路镇) and Gonglu (龚路镇).

Administrative structure

At the village level, Caolu is made up of nine communities and 34 villages. These are:
