Capo Rosso

Capo Rosso is a peninsula in western Corsica that is located at the southern end of the Gulf of Porto . The 330 m high elevation made of pink porphyry with the Genoese tower "Tower of Turghiu" can be seen from a great distance.

The view from there, looking to the east, includes La_Scandola , the Gulf of Girolata and the Gulf of Porto on the left and the coast to Cargèse on the right . The cliffs at Capo Rosso are steeply sloping and are one of the natural beauties of the island.
