Caprera (Montevideo)

Caprera is now in Pocitos leavened Barrio of Montevideo .

The Montevidean district of Caprera was founded on March 25, 1879 by Florencio Escardó . In the "Plano General del Pueblo de los Pocitos" in 1888 Caprera as well as the barrios Víctor Manuel , Fortuna and Artigas between the Arroyo Pocitos Grande and Arroyo Pocitos Chico were included in the Barrio Pocitos.
