The Capsize Beach (from English capsize 'water fall ' ) is a sandy and around 500 m long beach in the southeast of the island of Heard in the southern Indian Ocean . It lies between the Winston Lagoon and Cape Lockyer .
Australian scientists named it after the waterfall that pours over the beach into the sea.
