Cara (singer)

Cara (* 1999 or 2000 in Cremona as Anna Cacopardo ) is an Italian pop singer .

Career

Cara is musically inspired by both international pop and the Italian cantautori . She gained her own musical experience as a singer in her hometown. In 2017 she took part in two national music competitions, first in the Tour Music Fest organized by Mogol , where she reached the semi-finals, then in Area Sanremo , where she made it to the finals. Then she took other singing classes in Milan and finally got a record deal with Polydor / Universal .

The singer made her official debut in summer 2019 with the single Mi serve . A remix of the song with the participation of the rapper Samuel Heron was also released later . In March 2020 Cara released the single Le Solid di Pablo ; a little later a new version followed together with Fedez , which immediately reached the top of the Italian single charts.
