Caragh O'Brien is an American writer who grew up in Minnesota . She studied literature and creative writing, then began teaching in a high school as a teacher. She lives in Connecticut with her husband, with whom she has three children . With The City of Missing Children , Caragh O'Brien wrote her first youth book. The book was published in Germany on January 28, 2011.
