Carburizing

Carburizing is a method from fuel engineering . With fuels it should

• the calorific value increased,
• the luminosity intensifies and
• the radiant heat transfer of the fuel gas flames can be increased.

During carburization, liquid hydrocarbons are vaporized or thermally decomposed . The passage of air through gas - or benzene - steam leads to the formation of a combustible gas of high calorific value and increased brightness.
