CareCross

CareCross is a non-profit Swiss foundation within the meaning of Art. 80ff. of the Swiss Civil Code . President is former National Councilor Roland Wiederkehr . Its aim is to promote, maintain or restore the health of people and the environment.

The organization was registered as a foundation on February 16, 2009 . It supports projects in the field of road safety in Poland and is running a new campaign “A new leg for 100 francs” together with the Indian aid organization Jaipur Foot. It supports people who have lost a leg in traffic or other accidents with leg prostheses. At Easter 2017 CareCross launched this “for resurrection” campaign. The aim is for Switzerland to supplement its development policy with road safety projects in low and middle income countries.
