Carina Bartsch (* 1985 in Erlangen ) is a German writer .

Life

Carina Bartsch was born in Erlangen in 1985 . She dropped out of secondary school, business school and an apprenticeship. After several small jobs, she wrote her first short story in her early twenties. Four years later, her first debut novel, “Kirschroter Sommer”, appeared in 2011, which made her the most successful German romance novelist on the web. This and the subsequent volume "Turquoise Green Winter" was initially self-published (Schandtaten Verlag). Since 2012 she has been the first self-publishing author under contract with Rowohlt. Her novels “Cherry Red Summer” and “Turquoise Green Winter” were at the top of Amazon's bestseller list as e-books for months .
