Carl Brocke

Carl Brocke (born September 26, 1887 ; † unknown) was a German SS leader.

Live and act

Brocke was the son of a plumber . After attending school, he learned his father's trade. From 1914 to 1918 Brocke took part in the First World War and then took over the parental plumbing business. During the economic crisis of 1923, the entire working capital was lost, so that, according to Brocke's own statements, the company was subsequently driven into ruin due to "usury of interest and tax Bolshevism".

From 1928 Brocke claims to have committed himself to the Nazi movement ( NSDAP membership number 154.776). In the following years he worked as a deputy district leader and as a founding member of the SS (SS No. 44.110) in Ballenstedt .

After 1933 Brocke officiated as administrative manager of the SD upper section middle. In 1936 he moved to the SD main office . In the Reich Security Main Office (RSHA) he became an assistant to the budget department, later group leader of group II C b (budget and economy of the security service). On November 9, 1942, he achieved the rank of SS-Standartenführer in the SS .
