Carl Corge
Carl Corge (born January 8, 1865 in Stolzenau an der Weser , † after 1902 ) was a German theater actor .
Life
Hermann Müller in Hanover prepared him for the stage career, which he entered on November 10, 1883 at the Hoftheater in Hanover and where he remained as a volunteer until 1894. This was followed by engagements in Eisenach (1884 to 1885), Dessau (1885 to 1886), Lüneburg (1886 to 1888), Görlitz (1888 to 1890), Stettin (1890 to 1891), Brno (1891 to 1892), Bremen (1892 to 1892) 1893), Magdeburg (1893 to 1894), from where he followed an application to the city theater in Strasbourg and made his debut there as “Othello”. He represented the field of the first heroes and lovers, for which he brought excellent artistic qualities.
His life after 1902 is just as unknown as the place and time of his death.
