Carl Schneider heirs , too: Carl Schneider's Erben , was in the 18th century in Thuringia founded porcelain - and dolls - manufacturer based in Gräfenthal .

history

As early as 1748, the Unger, Schneider & Cie. as a porcelain mark the capital letter G with an arrow pointing upwards.

In 1861 the company was renamed Unger, Schneider & Hutschenreuther .

In 1886 the company was renamed again to Carl Schneider Erben . A few years later, the company registered a trademark for a bath doll with the capital letter G over two arrows.

In 1951 the company was nationalized and, together with Carl Scheidig KG, became part of the VEB Porzellanfiguren Gräfenthal .

Until around 1972, the company's porcelain brand also featured a crown above the letter G and the two arrows.
