Carl Wayne
Carl Wayne (born August 18, 1943 in Birmingham , † August 31, 2004 in Pyrford, Surrey ) was a British singer and actor .
Life
He had his first record deal with the group Carl Wayne and the Vikings . In 1966 he became known as the singer of the group The Move , of which he was a member until 1970. In the following years he worked as a theater and film actor and also as a singer. From 2000 until his death in 2004 he was the singer of the group The Hollies . He died of esophageal cancer after a long period of suffering.
