Carla Candiani

Carla Candiani (born February 9, 1916 in Legnano ; † July 2, 2005 ) was an Italian actress .

Life

Candiani was an active athlete and studied foreign languages ​​when she came to Rome in 1937, where soon (after a supporting role in Mario Bonnard's Il feroce Saladino ) she attracted attention as an English lady who escaped the misdeeds of a gang of useless people in L'albergo degli assenti excited. After several forgotten films, the short but important role of Marchesa Attavanti followed in a film adaptation of the opera La Tosca from 1941, as well as appearances in two Emilio Salgari films.
