Carlos Cordero

Carlos Cordero ( Carlos Cordero Gómez ; born January 7, 1977 in Potrero de la Noria de Camarena , Guanajuato state ) is a retired Mexican marathon runner .

Career

In 2006 he finished seventh in the Guadalajara Marathon. In 2008 he was third at the Maratón de la Comarca Lagunera and won a 30 km elimination race of the Mexican Athletics Association for the Beijing Olympic Games , where he came in 32nd.

In 2009 he became national champion with a win in the Comarca Lagunera with his personal best of 2:12:48 h and finished 49th at the World Athletics Championships in Berlin . In 2010 he won the silver medal at the Central America and Caribbean Championships.
