Carlos Puig

Carlos V. Puig († June 10, 1985 ) was a Uruguayan politician .

Carlos Puig, who belonged to the Partido Nacional and was a member of the ruling wing as well as a member of the party board, was representative of the Florida department in the 36th legislative period (LP) from February 15, 1951 and in the 37th legislative period for the Flores department until on February 14, 1959 held a titular mandate as a member of the Cámara de Representantes . He then sat for three days for the Lavalleja Department in the Chamber of Deputies in the following electoral term from February 15, 1959 to February 18, 1959 . He belonged to each Sublemas Acción Parliam - 1 and 2 (36 LP), Con Herrera - 11 (37 LP) and Herrera to 1 (38 LP) -. Puig then moved to the Cámara de Senadores as a senator until March 3, 1959 . There he resigned and was from March 1, 1959 Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries. He held this office until February 28, 1963. During this office phase he also took over the management of the Ministry of the Interior from April 26, 1960 to April 13, 1961.
