Carlos Rodríguez Cal

Carlos Rodríguez Cal is a Uruguayan politician .

Rodríguez Cal was the owner and director of the Treinta y Tres newspaper Orientación at least in the mid-1960s .

Rodríguez Cal, who, according to the official parliamentary database, belongs to the Partido Nacional , sat in the 39th and 40th legislative periods as a representative of the Treinta y Tres department for the first time from April 20, 1966 and, with interruptions, until December 9, 1970 as deputy member in the Cámara de Representantes . In the 41st legislative period he then held a titular mandate in the Chamber of Deputies from February 15, 1972 to June 27, 1973, also for Treinta y Tres. At the time of the 1973 coup , he was part of the Comisión Permanente des Parliament, where the MP Yerú Pardiñas in his parliamentary address on February 26, 2013 at that time located him as a member of the Partido Colorado . A database of the Faculty of Social Sciences of the Universidad de la República also lists him as a Colorado member at the time and assigns him to the Sublema Unión Nacional Reeleccionista (UNReelecc) 13 and 66.
