The Carlskrona (identification: P 04) is a patrol boat of the Swedish Navy . She is the longest ship in the Royal Swedish Navy fleet at 105.7 meters. Originally, the ship was designed as a mine-layer and intended for training purposes. When it was commissioned in 1997, it replaced the Älvsnabben with both tasks.

In 2009-2010 it was converted as an Offshore Patrol Vessel (OPV) and reclassified from M to P (P 04). During the Swedish participation in Operation Atalanta in the Gulf of Aden in 2010 , the Carlskrona was the Swedish lead ship.
