Carmen Vincelj (born August 30, 1972 in Stuttgart ) is a German former professional tournament dancer .

Life

Carmen Vincelj went to school in Pforzheim . In 1989 she started dancing at the Schwarz-Weiß-Club Pforzheim . With her partner Carsten Krause, she won the German A-Class Latin championship in 1991. With Sandro Cavallini, she was runner-up on January 27, 1996 at the Goldstadtpokal, an IDSF International Open Latin tournament in Pforzheim, after she had previously won two German runner-ups with him in the amateurs (1994 and 1995). With Allan Tornsberg, her dance partner from March 1996 to December 1998, she won the German Open 1997 and the WD & DSC World Professional South American Showdance Championship 1997 in Scheveningen . In addition, she was runner-up several times and reached several third places.

On March 17, 1999 she began her partnership with Bryan Watson , which promoted them to the top of the world. They became world champions in Latin American dances nine times in a row (1999-2007) and seven times European champions (1999-2003 and 2005-2006). You will be ranked 137 times in 144 tournament results. Vincelj and Watson resigned from active dance on May 30, 2007.
