Carnedd y Saeson is a burial mound northwest of Foel Dduarth in Abergwyngregyn in Gwynedd in North Wales . Carnedd y Saeson means "burial mound of the Englishman" ( English Cairn of the Englishman ).

The cairn is around 14.0 m in diameter and has a 1.8 × 1.2 m stone box in its center. It is oriented north-south, the capstone is now east of the box. Inside the hill, which is still around 30 cm high, there is a circle of small, thin slabs of slate approx. 10 m in diameter. Another stone circle lies eccentrically within this circle.

There are other burial mounds in the immediate vicinity, the Anafon Valley Cairns about 450 m away .
