Carol Beach York
Carol Beach York (born January 21, 1928 in Chicago , Illinois , † April 26, 2013 ) was an American author of children's and youth literature .
Life
York was born and raised in Chicago. She wrote her first stories at the age of seven. In her mid-twenties she sold her first story to Seventeen magazine .
Carol Beach York published over 50 books. She wrote both children's books and adult literature, but most of the books were aimed at teenagers and young adults. None of her books have appeared in German so far (as of 2019).
Your book "Good Charlotte" inspired the band Good Charlotte when they were named.
