Caroline Nokes (born June 26, 1972 in Lyndhurst , Hampshire ) is a British politician of the Conservative Party (Independent since September 4, 2019).

Life

Her father was the British politician and MEP Roy Perry . Nokes attended The Romsey School and studied political science at the University of Sussex . In the May I cabinet , Nokes was Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Social Affairs. Nokes was Parliamentary State Secretary for Immigration in the May II Cabinet from January 8, 2018 to July 24, 2019. On September 4, 2019, she was expelled from the Conservative Party faction after her parliamentary decision in the lower house to prevent an exit from the EU without an agreement. From 1995 to 2002 Nokes was married to Marc Nokes and has one daughter.
