The Cascade Blanche ("White Waterfall") is a waterfall on the French island of La Reunion , in the Indian Ocean . It belongs to the municipality of Bras-Panon but is best viewed from the small town of Salazie . The waterfall arises from the river Ravine Blanche ("White Gorge").
With a total height of 640 meters, divided into 4 steps, it is one of the highest waterfalls on earth.
