Cash Flow ( spelling CASH FLOW ) is an Austrian business magazine that was originally founded in 1984 by students at the Vienna University of Economics and Business (magazine for business and committed management) and has only appeared four times. In 1985 the title rights were taken over by Ferenc Papp and Johanna Maurovich and the magazine was restarted under the title "Cash Flow Das Abenteuer Wirtschaft" at the turn of 1985/86. In 1986 the magazine appeared bimonthly, from 1987 monthly. In April 1996, the last issue of Cash Flow Das Abenteuer Wirtschaft was published.
From 1989 to June 2006 Cash Flow was also published in Hungary as an independent Hungarian monthly business magazine "Cash Flow Gazdasági Magazin". www.cfol.hu still exists today (2013) as an online magazine of the former print title.
In 2011 a group around Ferenc Papp came up with the plan to publish a "25-year cash flow anniversary issue".
A preview number was released on June 28, 2011.
On December 8, 2011, the first cash flow appeared in 15 years. For this issue, Dietrich Mateschitz from Red Bull gave the only exclusive interview in many years.
Four issues were planned for 2012. In December 2012 an issue with the cover topic " Start-Up " was published.
A spectacular edition on the subject of "crowdfunding", also planned for 2012, whereby the cover would also have been sold "square centimeter by square" via crowdfunding , did not materialize, mainly for bureaucratic reasons.
In the "Print Out" exhibition at MoMA in New York (February 19 to May 14, 2012), Cash Flow Das Abenteuer Wirtschaft was presented as one of very few magazines.
In June 2013 the double issue 01-02 / 2013 was published with the cover theme “Sharing is the new having” ( sharing ), in December 2013 the double issue 3-4 / 2013 was published.
In spring 2013 Cash Flow announced the publication of a new premium health magazine called "S.Class". The first issue should appear at the end of September 2013. In October 2013 the first issue with the new title "Premium Health, the leading magazine for private healthcare" was published. "Premium health" is to appear four times a year.
The "new" issues of Cash Flow (2011 to 2013) can also be read as a free app on the iPad .
