Castle Haven is a bay on the east coast of Aberdeenshire in north-east Scotland , two kilometers south of Stonehaven . It extends along the coast about 300 meters in a north-south direction and inland in an east-west direction over a length of about 450 meters. The northern end is marked by the Bowdun Head headland , the southern by the ruins of Dunnottar Castle . The inland part belongs to the Community Council Area Catterline, Kinneff and Dunnottar .
