Catamantaloedes
Catamantaloedes was a king of the Gallic Sequan people . It is only known from a passage from Gaius Iulius Caesar's account of the Gallic War .
According to Caesar, Catamanataloedes ruled (Latin regnum ) over the Sequani for many years and was recognized by the Roman Senate as a "friend of the Roman people". He must have been dead when his son Casticus around 60/59 BC. Chr. Should have tried to take over the earlier position of his father.
