Catherine Bearder
Catherine Bearder (born January 14, 1949 in Broxbourne ) is a British politician of the Liberal Democrats .
Life
Bearder was a member of the European Parliament from 2009 to January 2020 . Bearder is married to zoologist Simon Bearder, a professor at Oxford Brookes University , and has three children.
MEP member of the European Parliament
As MEP, Bearder served on the Regional Development Committee and on the delegation to the ACP-EU Joint Parliamentary Assembly. She served as a deputy on the Committee on International Trade , the Committee on Transport and Tourism and the Delegation for relations with the United States.
