Catherine Stermann
Catherine Stermann (born September 18, 1949 in Poissy , Yvelines department , † April 11, 1985 in Paris ) was a French actress and the granddaughter of the German politician Karl Meitmann .
For certain roles she used the names or pseudonyms , Catherine Melo, Ophélie Stermann and Claude Stermann . She became known in German-speaking countries as Odile in the television series for learning French, Les Gammas! Les Gammas! On stage, she performed in Paris in the world premiere of two pieces by Jean Anouilh . Because of her youthful appearance and speaking, she was also given children's roles several times as an adult.
At the age of 35 she took her own life.
