Cautley Spout is England's highest surface waterfall and is located in Cumbria . The waterfall arises from various small streams on a mountain plateau formed by The Calf and Bram Rigg Top. The water falls over 4 steps a total of 198 m. At the foot of the falls, the water flows through a short narrow valley and then flows into the River Rawthey .
